  • UK Theatre Web - Extensive information on United Kingdom theatre.

  • UM Weather (Weather Underground) - The heart of the site is the Weather Underground database of weather conditions and forecasts from around the globe, as well as hard to find daily historic weather records (most dating back six years).

  • UMI: Digital Dissertations - Search citations and abstracts representing dissertations completed in the last two years. No full text, but there is an option to purchase it. To search all years online requires a trip to one of the libraries on the University of California's Riverside campus. To search more than two years here at the Pfau Library, use the Dissertation Abstracts index for the years 1938-1967 (on microfilm, 1st floor), 1967-1979 (in print, Storage AS30 .M5), and 1980-1996 (in print, South Entrance AS30 .M5). Ask a reference librarian for assistance. Once a dissertation has been identified, it may be available through the Interlibrary Loan service.
