  • Radio and Records Online - Online version of the radio industry newsletter. Includes current information on music ratings, industry news, and market demographics for major market areas.

  • Radio Ink - Industry news articles from the print magazine for the radio industry.

  • Radio Links - Links to sites of interest to radio professionals.

  • Radio Locator - Searchable by location or by call letters, or browse by format. Links to station web sites and to internet radio broadcasts if available. Includes data such as frequency, number of towers, and location of transmitters. Some coverage of international radio stations.

  • Rand California - Created and maintained by personnel at RAND. Offers an index of searchable publications as well as datasets on California public policy and economy. Good source of business statistics. Use from on-campus.

  • Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab - ESL listening exercises. You must have a audio/video player, such as RealPlayer or Microsoft Media Player, and a computer with sound card and speakers.

  • Redlands Humane Society - "We operate an "all breeds" pet rescue and adoption program. We do not operate a shelter and never euthanize a healthy animal. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes until they find good adoptive homes."

  • Referencedesk.com - The lists of links in this extensive commercial site just go on and on, but because it contains so much it can be difficult to find what you want. You can search the site, but keep your searches very simple in order to find the sources.

  • REGARD Database - REGARD is a database of information about social science research projects funded by Britain's Economic and Social Research Council.

  • Rescuers.com: California's Directory of Pet Adoption Resources - A very useful site if you want to adopt a pet or find a home for a pet. Search by county or type of pet. Please note that information on whether or not listed organizations euthanize animals is not provided--contact organizations directly or follow links to their Web sites (when available) to find out.

  • Right to Know Hazardous Substance Fact Sheets - There is information on over 1,000 hazardous and toxic chemicals in this regularly updated database; files are available only in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Information for each substance includes identifying characteristics, common names, health hazards, how to determine and limit workplace exposure, emergency first aid, handling and storage, and a question-and-answer section.   • RxList - Database of drug information. Search by keyword, drug name, or imprint code. Includes patient education information and a list of the top 200 drugs prescribed in the U.S.
