Links:- Map Collections from American Memory - From the Library of Congress, a collection of historical U.S. maps. Themes include military campaigns, exploration and discovery, and the environment. Search by keyword or browse by subject.
- Map Finder - Map Finder is a sheet by sheet inventory of all maps published in series. It is based on the holdings of the American Geographical Society's collection at the Golda Meier Library, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. You can search by latitude and Longitude or geographic name. A search will result in a display of specific sheet coverage of all map series.

Emphasis on scholarly sites, analysis, articles, and article reviews. Topics include Media Influence, Media Education, Film Studies, Pop Music, Written/Spoken, Visual Image, and Gender/Ethnicity.
- Media History Project - Brief information on the history and development of all types of media, including writing, oral culture, printing, mass media, and electronic media.
- Media Literacy Review - Includes sections with information for teachers, for parents, on the media industry, and background readings in media literacy. Easy to use and well-organized.
- Media Week - Current news about media & entertainment industries. Includes TV ratings, media market profiles, and analysis of media market conditions.
- Medieval Drama Links - A selection of links to every aspect of medieval drama.
- Medieval Women Interactive - Not strictly a literature site, but a fun exploration of women's roles in medieval Europe. Requires Flash and RealPlayer.
- MEDLINE - PubMed - The premier database of medical research literature, provided by the National Library of Medicine. Citations and abstracts are available; a very small percentage of the records are linked to online articles.
- Mental Health Net - This site is managed by psychologist Mark Dombeck, PhD, and is a good resource for introductory material in the field. The "Problems" section describes symptoms, treatments, and identifies online resources for various disorders. Other useful sections include the "Symptom List" and the "Mental Health Terms Glossary."
- Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy, 17th ed. - The 1999 edition, a well-known diagnostic handbook is online in its entirety. Searchable by chapters.
- Merck Manual of Geriatrics - This full-text and searchable online copy of the 2nd edition (1995) provides information on the medical problems of the elderly, providing clinical information to all those involved in the care of elderly patients.
