- Imagebase: Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco - The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) is the city's largest public arts institution.
- In Search of Shakespeare - Companion to the PBS series. Includes background about Shakespeare's life and times, as well as tools for teachers.
- Index to American Botanical Literature - Search botanical literature from 1995 to the present. Citations only. Done by the New York Botanical Garden.
- Index to Military Periodicals - Free online version of Air University Library's Index to Military Periodicals. Coverage: 1990 to the present. Updated quarterly. Includes links to some free online journals.

- Infoplease - This reference book publisher has made several publications available online including a
general almanac (Information Please Almanac), a dictionary (Random House Webster's
College Dictionary, 1997), and an encyclopedia (Columbia Encyclopedia, 1993, 5th
