- California Legislative Document Archive - From the Clerk of the Assembly of the state of California, an archive of California session laws, legislative journals, histories, and indexes, from 1849-2001. Be advised that the PDF files are extremely large and the site can be tricky to navigate.
- California Native Plant Society - "The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) is a statewide non-profit organization of amateurs and professionals with a common interest in California's native plants."

- ChemIDplus - Provides access to structure and nomenclature information for the identification of chemical substances cited in NLM databases. The database contains over 379,000 chemical records, of which over 257,000 include chemical structures. ChemIDplus Lite is available for Name and RN searching without the need for plugins or applets.
- Chicago Citation Guide - A quick guide to the basic Chicago citation style done by one of the Pfau Library librarians.
- Children's Literature - Reviews and teaching materials for children's literature. Particularly interesting are the "themed reviews," which focus on a particular subject area.

- Co-operatives Business Plan Workbook - The Department of Economic Development in Nova Scotia developed this workbook (available for download) which includes extensive general information on writing a business plan.
- Coalition for Excellence in Science and Math Education - "CESE was created in 1997 when a few science activists decided that that New Mexico was badly in need of a group of citizens dedicated to strong public school science education, free of unscientific, religious or political bias. "

- Color Landform Atlas of the U.S. - The big attraction of this site is the selection of color relief maps, by state. Some states also have historical maps and satellite images available.
- Columbia Journalism Review - CJR's web site offers selected articles from this prestigious publication about the practice and perils of journalism.
- Combined Health Information Database - This site features several databases of health information produced by government agencies. Can be searched individually or all at once.
- Common Errors in English - Done by English Professor Paul Brians at Washington State University, this Web site offers multitudes of common errors and their remedies.
- Communication Institute for Online Scholarship - Provides online journals and a communication index; some services by subscription only.
- Communication Studies Resources - From the University of Iowa, a brief listing of web sites in a wide variety of media and communciation studies topics. Quality and depth of the listings varies wildly.
- Community Health Status Indicators Project - This easy to use resource includes the health status reports for all 3,082 US counties. Demographic information includes population size, population density, percent of individuals living below the poverty line, age distribution, and percentages for non-white population. Make sure to go to the online viewing version or the pamphlet version for the complete report.
- Complete Planet - Locates searchable databases and specialty search engines.
- Computer Science Bibliography Collection - This is a collection of bibliographies of scientific literature in computer science from various sources. The bibliographies are updated weekly.
The collection contains more than 2 millions of references (mostly to journal articles, conference papers and technical reports), clustered in about 1500 bibliographies, and consists of more than 2.3 GBytes (530MB gzipped) of BibTeX entries. More than 600 000 references contain crossreferences to citing or cited publications.

- County and City Data Books - Access information from the 1989 and 1994 books; pick the cities and view customized reports. A fascinating and very useful site.
